As many of you know, Game Over Gopher is the first of six high-quality, high-impact games made by leading game developers who are part of the GlassLab beta partner program. This engaging tower defense game teaches how to plot points on a coordinate grid. A question we’ve heard is: how did the Learning Games Lab involve educators in the game development process?
Game developer David Abraham and artist/animator Seth Powers talk about the process of planning and designing Game Over Gopher with a team of mathematicians, educators, and instructional designers at the Learning Games Lab – then building a working prototype, trying out various art styles, and finessing the final product.
